Default Setting up a formula

I am trying to set up a formula to use the zip code of a location on 1
spreadsheet, then match it to zipcode information on a different spreadsheet,
then put that combined information on a third sheet? Can this be done? And if
so HOW?

Not really sssure but have a look at VLOOKUP for this
