Default Copying a chart

I want to copy a chart from one workbook to another. But,
I don't want the second workbook to have links to the
first. Is there a way to copy the chart as a picture or
object?

Hold down the shift key and choose Edit/Copy Picture...

Or, since this is the programming group:

ActiveChart.CopyPicture Appearance:=xlScreen, Size:=xlScreen
