Default Difficult returning result !!!!

Hi
I have 4 cells in a row and in each cell there is a number. I have 70
rows till now and every 2 days i add one more.

E.g.
A B C D
---------------
1- 1 3 10 25
2- 5 11 12 29

700-1 25 29 32

and so on.

In an another worksheet i have 10 columns that at the top of each o
them (A1, B1, C1 ....) i have numbers separated with a dot (".")
Eg. 10.12.1.3

What i want is:
The separated with the dot numbers to read all the above 4 cells al
the way down and then if any number matches with the row to return a
result the one (1) otherwise the zero (0). At last to to sum the one
(1).
the update should be every time i open the workbook

Eg.
suppose we have 2 columns with this combination of numbers
combo-1 is 10.12.1.3
combo-2 is 5.10.3

The result for each of the above columns will be (COMBO-1 result)
A B C D
1- 1 1 1 0
2- 0 0 1 0
700- 1 0 0 0

The result for each of the above columns will be (COMBO-2 result)
A B C D
1- 0 1 1 0
2- 1 0 0 0
700- 0 0 0 0

The TOTAL result that i want for each of the above columns will be
A B
1- 3 2
2- 1 1
700- 1 0

Because i make it with formulas its too slow and also difficult to b
updated i ask you if anyone can do it using arrays so to get th
updates and the total results real fast

Thanks in advance
Stathi

Formulas would probably be the best approach. You need to duplicate your
first worksheet and in that, put the formulas that would produce the
intermediate results you show in your example. Have your string of numbers
broken out in separate cells for use in the intermediate column. This
intermediate area could be on a separate sheet - then you wouldn't have to
use real complex formulas to get you summary information.

Default Difficult returning result !!!!

10 or 100 would make no difference

entering an adjustable formula and drag filling it takes little time

Once the sheet is set up, it wouldn't need to be adjusted
