Has this ever been attempted?
On the topic of file security for Excel, would it be possible to place a random generator formula in the Password Box on Excel and have i generate the same number in the second Password Validation box. Each time the file opens, the password would automatically changed to new number. I know that once it is set up, even the developer would b locked out. But in therory, this would be away to prevent the passwor cracks from finding the most current password. Please keep in mind, I am not a programmer, I only present this fro someone that is standing out side of the box. Just a thought. Robert Spragu -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
