I am a total Excel newbie and I've been trying to solve this problem
for the past four hours myself to no avail. I have a word document that is linked to my excel spreadsheet. I have a section in my word document that looks like this. "The party will be for X amount of guests." The "X" is the linked part. The link WORKS...but...instead of linking to the number of guests it links to the time. How do I edit the linked object to it references the number of guests and not the time. For example. The time cell is A2 and the number of guests is A1. Also... what is the formula to automatically have today's date in a cell? Thank you so much in advance for any help. |
