I inherited a spreadsheet with what looks like a "text
box". The text is not tied to any particular cell, and I cannot find a way to "select" it so that I can delete it. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I can delete this text. thank,Frank |

try making the visual basic toolbar visible: [MENU]ViewToolbarsVisual Basic then select then option for 'Design Mode' looks like a set square an ruler. then you should be able to select and delete the text box. onc done you can deseelct the design mode option and close the toolbar.
