Workflow OnExpire Event

I'm using SQL Server 2000 with OfficeXP Developer in order to create
workflows.
I'm trying to manage expire transition; the OnExpireValidate and OnExpire
events work fine, but the OnEnter event on the ending state of the expire
transition is never raise. It seems that the expire transition don't cause
the status change even if start and end state are configured ok.

Anybody can help me?
