Default VBA Project Password

Hello,

I feel dumber than a ... I developed a workbook for my employer with embedded macros. I password protected my project so that nosy employees couldn't go and mess around with it. However, I now have to make additions to my coding and smart as I am I cannot remember nor find the password that I used to lock my project.

Is there a way for me to get around this idiotic mistake of mine or do I have to start the whole thing over again? (please tell me there is a fix to this ... it took me days to develop in the first place)

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel!

There are approaches that few here are prepared to publicise.

But if you send the workbook to me I'll do a removal job on it.

i dont know if there's freeware available that can unlock VBA pw..

You'll need s'thing like comsoft's advanced office XP password recovery
but VBA is not enabled in the trial version....

mail and i'll unlock it for ya.. IF you tell me
how many modules there are in the workbook.
the names of those modules (or the name of at least one private function),
so I know you're legit... and not hacking somebody elses work.
