Not unhiding rows when pointing to cell to complete formula entry
We are using Excel 2002.
In the spreadsheets I develop I have a mode where rows and columns are hidden. Some sheets are hidden, and all sheets are protected. Two macros switch between this mode and all open and available. While I was not able to duplicate this on my machine, a user showed me that when he typed in =2* in an input field, and then went to another sheet that Excel unhid all the rows. (Apparently to give the user the option of pointing to a hidden cell.) Of course, after he selected the cell and pressed enter it did not restore the hidden state. Is it possible to turn this feature off? Don <donwiss at panix.com. |
