Open ODBC in Excel

I use the ODBC function in Excel extensively. But today
when I tried to upload info from our system I got an error
from the database name that use.The error is'08S01' COMM
PROTOCAL ERROR. AP_ALLOCATION-ERROR'.

1. I tested the driver and it works (Inside the ODBS
Administrator).

2. I am also able to use ODBC with another Database name
(With another password).

3. I rebooted with no success.

Can someone resolve this.
