Default Turning on Workbook Properties Statistics

Revision Number and Total Edit Time Boxes Are Empty
http://support.microsoft.com/default...03&Product=xlw

<Short copy..

SYMPTOMS
On the Statistics tab of the Properties dialog box (click Properties on the
File menu) the Revision Number and Total Edit Time boxes are blank.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs because Microsoft Excel does not use either of these
statistics.

MORE INFORMATION
The Properties dialog box is shared by Microsoft Office programs. Some
Microsoft Office programs use the Revision Number and Total Edit Time boxes;
however, Microsoft Excel does not use either of these boxes.

How do I turn on the statistics in the properties of a workbook?

I would like to be able to see how many times I have saved a workbook and
the amount of time I have spent working on it.

I am attaching a .jpg file for further clarification.

Thank you in advance for your help.
