Is it possible to automate all the versions of Excel with
Visual Basic.NET projects. When I have tried to do this I
have recieved the following error:
'Old format or invalid type library'
This error occurs when I tried to use VB.NET with both

Hi Yavor,

Is it possible to automate all the versions of Excel with
Visual Basic.NET projects. When I have tried to do this I

'Old format or invalid type library'
This error occurs when I tried to use VB.NET with both
Excel 2000 and Excel 2002

No. The interop assemblies are specific to each version of Excel, and
the first one available is for excel 2002.
