Hi again,
Is it possible to have a formular that takes the colour from one cel and uses it to for the text colour in the cell with this formular? I require this as I have 4 cells. 1 for some text, 1 for the backgroun colour, 1 for the text colour and 1 for a sample of what the text wil look like with the colours set in the other 2 cells. I know how to do this as a function but really want it as a cel formular! Any ideas? Cheer -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

If you mean you put the formula in a worksheet, then functions are not
allowed to change the excel environment - so this is not possible. They can only return a value to the cell in which they are used. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "grovesy " wrote in message ... Anyone? --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
