On a few occasions recently, after running procedures on a number of different models, I have ended up with a grey panel or window down the left side of my screen, covering about 1/4 of the visible spreadsheet screen. It starts immediately below the formula bar and runs down to the status bar. When the statusbar is turned off, one can view the bottom row in the spreadsheet, but when the formula bar is turned off, the top of the grey panel moves up to just below the toolbars, and on view Full Screen about 8 rows can be seen below the grey panel
The grey panel cannot be selected, sized or moved (other than up the screen slightly by the actions referred to above) I haven't observed any particular conditions that lead to this 'phenomenon', though doubtless there are some Any thoughts as to what might be causing this and how to get rid of it. I am using Excel 2002 TI Ron |
