Dayanand,
Change the "For Append" to "For Output" in the Open statement. This will delete the contents of the file when it is opened. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Dayanand" wrote in message ... Hi Kevin, Thanx for u r reply. But can u please guide me to create new text file every time i run my application and log the data. Which ever u have sent code will append the data to the existing log file. Is it possible to remove the old content and append new content or is it possible to create new text file..?.
