Excel displays picture of Britney Spears in a bikini every time I start the application
Sorry - it doesn't really, I just wanted to get your attention ;-) If
you really want to see a picture of Britney in a bikini I'll happily email one to anybody who can answer my question (or you could just surf for one like a normal person). Anyway, I posted this a few days ago but nobody has responded. I'm running Excel Version 11.5612.5703 One of the workbooks that I use is password protected and it recently started asking me for the password for that workbook every time I start Excel. I posted the same problem a while ago and somebody suggested that the file could be in my XLSTART folder - which it was so I removed it and the problem went away. This time I have checked XLSTART, in fact I have searched the whole machine including the registry but can't find anything to explain this behaviour. Incidentally, if I enter the password it opens the workbook straight into editable mode without prompting again to make it writeable. Has anybody had the same problem? Thanks, Liam |

Thanks for the help Tom.
No, the "At startup open all files in.." box is blank. Liam |
