I developed a workbook with few controls from the control toolbox. It opens fine for me and Iam able to navigate using th
command buttons and the combo box. But for few select users, The workbook opens the controls in the sheet in design mode. I checked to make sure the control toolbox is not open in design mode. But Iam not able to figure why it is openin
in design mode for some of the users. ANy ideas would be greatly appreciated. I spent quite a bit of time in the foru
to see if anybody has reported this problem and found none

Could it be that the workbook was saved with one of the control
selected/active ?

I use 'ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Select' frequently to ensure tha
controls lose focus

that may be a possibility. Not 100% sure. I found out that if somebody has macro security level set at High, the workboo
goes into design mode when opened with an error message box indicating macros were not executed. But I still have one user with this problem even after setting macro security level to medium and answers yes to enable macros. its puzzlin
