Default ActiveX Control Tutorial

Hello
Iam trying to develop an activex control that will work in Excel - this control will plot a 2D p-h chart
One of the features that I want is for the user to be able to specify a cell reference in the chart properties
Please can you point me to a tutorial /resource on how to go about developing controls for hosting in Excel
