CutCopyMode = False
What does this code mean?

CutCopyMode = False
If you select a range and copy (ctrl+C) it you will get a
blinking dashed line around the range. This is CutCopyMode. Setting it to false is the equivalent of pressing Escape to get rid of it. -----Original Message----- What does this code mean? CutCopyMode = False
When you select a range and copy it (Ctrl-C or Edit | Copy), th
cutcopymode is set to true. When you have pasted it and hit escape (o anything else that removes that range as the thing to be copied) it i set to false. I have no clue what would happen if you set it to true. Maybe give i a shot on a test worksheet and see... -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

True does exactly the same (sic!).

It clears the clipboard and gets rid of the "marching ants" from around the copied selection. If you set it to TRUE, it does the same thing. From Help......... False Cancels Cut or Copy mode and removes the moving border. True Cancels Cut or Copy mode and removes the moving border.
