Default Add-in help files - where to put them

I've put my hlp and cnt files in the same directory as my addin but help
doesn't work. where do I put them. Excel 2002

That is where I put them and it works fine. What the code that calls it look
like?

Default Add-in help files - where to put them

Sorry don't know as I only have the XLA file. BTW the help window does open
but its blank. There is no diagnostic asking me to find the HLP file
