Default Adress formula nested in an IF...

Hi

I´ve made an adress formula in an IF, to return the valeu
of that same cell but in Sheet2. It doesn´t work! the if
formula doesn´t interpert the return of the adress formula
as an excel "range".
Can anyone help me?

=IF((ADDRESS((ROW());(COLUMN());;;A1))<"";COLUMN( );"")

A1 =Sheet2!
