I have three choices on my spreadsheet Accept, Pend,
Reject. Is there anyway to make exel recognize these words and automatically put Accept in Green, Pend in Orange and Reject in Red? |

Hi Ana,
There sure is. It is called Conditional Formatting. Select all your cells, goto FormatConditional Formatting and set the equal condition, add your words and seta a colour. You can have 3 conditions, just what you need. -- HTH Bob Phillips ... looking out across Poole Harbour to the Purbecks (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "Ana Amaya" wrote in message ...
