hi all
i have been trying to do this excel sheet now for at least a month, am close to finishing it but there is one last part i can't seem to ge to work. i was just wondering if anyone could have a look at it for me. i have created a rota for work that consists of a weekly rota and seve daily rotas. i want to be able to fill out the weekly rota, and som how be able to transfer the shifts for a selected day onto th appropriate daily sheet. however i need to copy the name of th employee and their shift only for those people who are working on tha day. any help well be greatly appriciated as i am really starting t struggle. thanks agai Attachment filename: 2.1.xls Download attachment: http://www.excelforum.com/attachment.php?postid=52765 -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

Hi ..Im only a novice here & about to ppost my own issue up.
Sounds like a simple select case statement needs to be run. If cell x =John Brown...open "this worksheet" else next case ...within each case simply reference the data to be transferre fromto. ...as I said only a novice...but if you know VBA...Im sure you`l understand where Im coming from.; -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
