Default Programatically saving XML file as Excel spreadsheet

Hi,

I have an XML file which is fully formated and can be
directly opened using Excel 2003 and I have to save it
as .xls file to keep the Excel format Otherwise it is
retaining the XML tags etc.

I have to do this programtically without opening the
Excel. The idea is to open the .XLS file using Excel 2000
which does not support XML.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
