i am trying to write a macro that has the following steps:

1- copies certain text from a worksheet cell
2- opens the "file-open" dialogue box
3- opens the "rename" function on the selected file
4- pastes (using rightclick menue) the copied text into the "file name"
field on the "file-open" tree.

problem: when i record these kestrokes and the stop the recorder and
review the macor in VB. steps 2-4 dont show up a all.

please help me.
