What is the difference between a Service Release and a Service Pack with
respect to Microsoft Office products? Is one just a new term for the other? Or does one term indicate a cumulative bunch of fixes, while the other indicates only an incremental fix that depends on previous fixes being installed? -- Regards, Bill |

Thanks. Excellent article describing Microsoft's service processes. I
previously had searched the KB, but could only locate descriptions of various Service Releases and Service Packs, but there was no explanation that they are really the same thing. -- Regards, Bill |
