Hi...
I have a workbook that I use as a master order form. It is password protected, with only unlocked being selectable. A user will fill in information in the unlocked cells, then click a "finish" button which does some checking and executes the following code to save the workbook under a new name: NewName = ActiveWorkbook.Path & "\SKOrder " & Worksheets("DataEntry").Range("Customer_Company") & ".xls" FileSaveName = Application.GetSaveAsFilename( _ InitialFileName:=NewName, FileFilter:="Microsoft Excel Workbook (*.xls), *.xls") If FileSaveName < False Then ActiveWorkbook.SaveCopyAs FileSaveName This works like a champ...the new workbook is still password protected, and the locked cells are still locked, but the locked cells are now selectable! Is this a bug...or is there some setting I'm missing somewhere? Thanks for any help... Rick |
