Default Assign Macro function not working

hey guys

I create customer buttons and menus on my toolbars and
then in customize mode I right click on my newly created
button or menu item and then click assign macro and a
dialog popsup where I can select the macro. Now all of a
sudden I try to do that and when I click assign macro the
dialog does not pop up. Whats wrong?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The Assign Macro dialog only pops up for Forms Toolbar controls. For Control
Toolbox controls, you need to double-click the control (or right-click and
choose View Code) while in design mode to access the macro.
