Default Excel97 vs Excel2000

Is there a way to take a WB with macros developed under Excel2000
and make it like it was developed under Excel97? I tried to save the
WB as an Excel97 file but it still says it was developed under a later
version everytime I reopen it and try to save it. I am trying to move my
WBs developed with WINXP Excel2002 to WIN98 Excel97 to make
them the least common WBs version that would run under WIN98,
2000, XP and Excel97, 2000, and 2002 without complaining when trying
to save the WBs after adding data.

Thanks....
