I get the same problem, Den.
I assume it's some sort of half-baked attempt at anti-worm protection. In the end, it's probably easiest to find a workaround that works with ..SaveAs instead. Or to give instructions to the users to save the file before opening it. Den wrote: Yes, I am using the full path. It simply does not work when you open the file as a link within Internet Explorer.
