Code to compress files in XP
Hi
do you want to do this within Excel?. I would suggest susing a different tool (OS scheduler, etc.). But if you want to use Excel you may goto the WINZIP homepage. They have a command line extension which you may call with the Shell Command from Excel -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany Lawlera wrote: Hi, I would like some code to compress (through Windows XP) an unopen excel file and then copy the compressed file to the a:\ drive.
