Default Auto Filter Subtotal

That message is placed in the status bar after a filter. It will stay
there until something is done to the sheet that may make the filter
invalid (e.g., changing a value in the filtered data).

To get the display again, refilter your data.

When using the Auto Filter feature, when you select an item to filter by, on
some of my documents it will give me a subtotal at the bottom left hand
corner. (5 of 25) I have one document that does not pop up with this
subtotal it only says (Ready). Does anyone know how to reactivate the
subtotal for filtering?

Default Auto Filter Subtotal

I have tried that but I can't seam to EVER get the subtotal to come up. Even when I reset the Filter, Cancel the filter and start over, or try to filter by another item. Do you know if we mave have accidentally deactivated that feature? If so is there a way to reset it?
