Default Excel pictures - saving to a file

Hi
I have a number of excel files that have pictures in them. I need to
be able to save them to files - jpg or gif or whatever - I cant work
out how to do this, even just using Excel, let alone using VBA? Does
anyone know how I save JUST THE PICTURE SELECTED as a graphics file of
some kind?
Any help gratefully appreciated!!!
Thanks
Michelle

The only answer I can think of and use, is to copy and
paste the picture into a graphics program, then save as
whatever format I need.
