I am having trouble with a routine in Excel vba on Windows 2000
machines. I reset the attributes of the files I want to hide to vbHidden, using SetAttr, before opening the getopenfile dialogue box( special filtering means I can't use the file filter in this). It works well on everything except win 2000 where it takes 30 seconds as against 0.7 sec in 98 and XP. Any offers? Is it possible to tell which version of windows is running using excel vba. Thanks for any help John Robinson |
