Default Track Excel File usage?

I maintain many excel files on a shared drive. I would
like to see if these files are being used (and if
possible, by whom and when).

Is there VBA code available that would show me the
detailed information showing the "Accessed" information
from the file properties box?" Or do you have any other
suggestions on how to track excel file usage?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can look at Chip Pearson's page on builtin document properties:
