Default macro...

learning macro here....any idea on how to do the
following. when i open up my excel i would like to have
my template laoded for "daily report" in a workbook
called "x project" and then once i am finished writing
(filling in)the log, to have it stored or saved to a
workbook under that job name or project. then to refresh
the excel log for the next report. i will need to keep
all logs thru 540 days. after that they will be stored
indefinitely. There will be a report for each day.
is it possible a record a macro for this. i look at it
similar to stock reporting but it will have text as well
as numbers and data.
any suggestions ?? Heres mo i have done this so
far...i have created a template file but not yet saved in
the start up location.
ready to do more. HELP.....:) lazy is not my word at all!
mike thanks!!!! once i have replied to your input , how
do i reply again and know that yu will see it again. ?
