counting functions
i have seem numerous examples of counting functions in
excel like countif. what would be a good example of why i would need to use this function? seeking ideas of how this function would help me in any reporting or calculating. tks. |

counting functions
Very useful to calculate how many times an item is listed in a range
in my example this formula =COUNTIF(A2:A20,"a") counts how many cells have only the letter a in them. --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
