Default bloomberg API

PLEASE help me! I don't know what I'm doing. I have a spreadsheet
being created by Visual FoxPro 8.0 with formulas that work with
bloomberg API using th BLP() function. The spreadsheet is populated
with a a list of common stock and preferred stock. If I open the
spreadsheet manually, I click yes to accept the automatic links to
another spreadsheet blah blah blah. Real-Time quotes are enabled and
everything updates as it should. When I try to accomplish this through
foxpro, it doesn't work. I open the spreadsheet with a parameter of
..T. to accept the automatic links and I have set the Excel app
UpdateRemoteReferences property to .T.. I have tried some macros and
converted the vba script to vfp and have done some reading. I thought
thesse were the two main things I need to do, but obviously I was
wrong. anyone got any suggestions...please!

Thanks
