Default Calculation problem in pivottable

First of all: my Excel is in Norwegian, so I have to translate the words on the menus and hope I get it right.

I have in my colums 10 different values that is pulled out from a database. On the rows I have dates, and on the side I can choose Year, Month and week to hide and show the number of rows I want.

I then establish a new calculated element into my colum. This colum is adding the contens of three other colums, and it looks good. Adding is OK, sum is correct. BUT - when i try to filter my view to only show week, or month or year the pivot is showing all the dates available. If I filter away my new calculated element the pivot is working OK, but as long as I decide to show the new element the filtering on the side is not working. Grateful if anyone has some ideas.
