How can I base a cells Conditional Formating on the results of a Vlookup
formula?

Default Conditional formating

Change the condition to Formula Is and test the cell against the VLOOKUP
formula so as to return TRue or False, e.g.

=A1=VLOOKUP(A2,$H$1:G$20,2,FALSE)
