Default ADO and Excel versions

Hi,

Is there any method to open Excel files(version 2.1 or
earlier) using ODBC or OLEDB? If so it will be a great
help to mention the connection string/Provider and
properties.

Thanx in advance...

Priyesh.

I think the earliest supported version is 'Excel 3.0'.
