Hi All..........
Might it be possible to create an "Interrogator" workbook, and an "Interrogatee" workbook.........ie, I have a database in one workbook and understand how to run the Autofilter by macro within it..........what I want to do is to set up another workbook, and have it contain a macro and the AutoFilter Criteria to interrogate the database in the other workbook, and report the results back to the "Interrogator" workbook. I've tried to modify the Criteria code lines to bring in the cell values from the other workbook, but no luck........ Please let me know if this is do-able....... Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 |

As usual, you should copy/paste your coding efforts for comments and
suggestions. -- Don Guillett SalesAid Software "CLR" wrote in message ... Hi All.......... Hi All............
FYI, the answer to my question is "YES",....... one "can" build a small "Interrogator" workbook that can use it's own AutoFilter macro/criteria to interrogate the database in another workbook (on a network) and return the results, (including hyperlinks). I got it all working today, and it even ran off my USB pocket-stick. Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "CLR" wrote in message ... Hi All..........
