Is there anyway that when i paste something into a
document that it could automatically trigger a macro?

Try this:

Put =Now() somewhere on your sheet

Right click sheet tabview codeinsert thisSave

Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
MsgBox "Hello"
End Sub

try your paste
