Default prevent recalculation of random data except in a "Calculate" macro

Hi

is there a way to prevent recalculation except in a "Calculate" macro

i am turning on and off data in a chart by using a 1 or 0 multiplier on
the data

However this data is randomly generated so if i change this multiplier
value to 1 or 0 the random data updates also which i do not want

However i will make the data changet change but only by firing a macro
with a "Calculate" statement in a separate macro

thanks

matt

Have you gone to tools=Options, then the calculation tab and set
calculation to Manual?
