lost objects in Excel
I have had numerous incidents of Excel "forgeting" what kind of object is
embedded in a spreadsheet. For example I have placed some Command Buttons on a spreadsheet and for no known reason they forget they are command buttons and revert to a picture object. I have also placed Word objects in a spreadsheet and have the same thing happen. They just revert to picture objects. The only way I have found to fix it, is to delete the object and re-insert it into the spreadsheet again. Anyone else run into this. Any ideas? Dennis |

What do you see in the formula bar if you select the object after it has been "forgotten"? What is the setting in Tools / Options / View / Objects? I don't know Bill, I have not taken notice of that information. It happens
fairly frequently, but I cannot reproduce it at will, so I will have to wait until it happens again and make note of that information. Thanks Dennis "Bill Manville" wrote in message ...
