Hi Mark..

I used this code written by Chip Pearson... worked for me

Public Sub ClearClipboard()
Dim MyDataObj As New DataObject
MyDataObj.SetText ""
MyDataObj.PutInClipboard
End Sub

Application.CutCopyMode = False :didn't work in my case
