Default invalid picture file

In case anyone cares:

An image in a user form must be either bitmap, icon, or
Windows metafile. This is true even though the "Load
Picture" dialog box shows all picture files, including
gif, jpg, tif, etc., and lets you load them.

-----Original Message-----
I'm getting an error message "Invalid picture file."

I'm
using a gif file in a user form. When I delete the
picture, the error message does not appear. Are there
different types of gif files, or any other ideas why
there is a problem with the gif file?
.
