Default USERFORM in Excel2000

I have just installed SP3 for OFFICE2000. When I insert a
Userform now, the gridlines appear as large black squares
instead of dots. The smaller the point size the larger the
squares. If I make the grid point size 20 or larger, then
the gridlines become visible. Has anybody else
experienced the same problem? If so, is there a solution?
