Default I'm new to excel and need help


I am trying to make a database that makes e-mail addrsse from 3 letters
in one colunm(hnd), two numbers from another colum(01 from 2001) ie:
the last two numbers and first letter of a first name and the first
ltter of the last name from two other colunms



any help??

Hi

If for example cell A1 had your 3 letters in it and cell
B1 had your 2 numbers, then in order to put the two
combined into D1 you would need to type the following
formula into the cell D1

=A1&B1
