Default macro usage in Excel through a VPN

Has anyone every tried or had luck accessing the marco
functions in an Excel spreadsheet using a VPN(Virtual
Private Network? In other words I can not get my macros to
work when I log in from home. It says the path in my
macros can not be found.

I use Excel macros through a VPN all the time. Not sure why it's saying that
the path to the macros could not be found. Normally the macros are imbedded
into the Excel document. If you are running the Excel document from the VPN
side rather then locally. You might try copying it down to your machine and
running it locally just to see if it will work that way. If so I would say
it could be a few different things. It could be a firewall preventing
something, security settings, or a half a dozen other things.
